Each spring, the City of Wamego comes alive with thousands of visitors, vibrant colors of tulips and more than 200 craft vendors. The vivacious colors of the tulips from Holland are the backdrop for this April art and craft fair in Wamego City Park. Free parking is available on side streets surrounding Wamego City Park. For handicap parking, there are some spaces available in the Wamego Aquatic Center (This is located at east side of the corner of Ash Street and 5th Street.) parking lot and in the 400 block of Ash St. There are other designated spaces by the Children's Train Depot on 6th St as well as marked Handicapped spaces downtown on Lincoln Ave. The Children's Train will not be running during the Festival this year While you’re here, don’t forget to spend time in Downtown Wamego and visit local historical landmarks.
