Breadbasket Farmers Market sets up outside every Saturday from 7:30 am to 1 pm, April 4 through November 21, 2026, on the south side of the Furniture Mall of Kansas parking lot at West Ridge Mall in Topeka. The market runs as a tobacco free event all season.

The Mulvane Art Fair takes place June 6 and 7, 2026, on the Washburn University campus in Topeka. Hours run 10 am to 5 pm on June 6 and 10 am to 3 pm on June 7, with admission at $8 through June 5 and $10 starting June 6, free for children under 12 and students with ID. The juried fair features artists from across the country alongside live music, food trucks and a beer garden.
The Topeka Renaissance Fall Festival runs October 23 through 25, 2026, at The Woodshed Event Center, 1901 N. Kansas Ave. A Halloween Ball kicks off Friday from 6 to 10 pm, followed by the main festival Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, with live combat demonstrations, a birds of prey show, fire performers, four stages of entertainment, axe throwing, face painting and henna, plus pubs and unique vendors.
