What FestKit does for food truck rallies

FestKit is scheduling and payment software for food truck rallies: trucks book a specific spot on a specific date, with power and space requirements attached to the spot.

Plan it, then run it on-site

Draw stalls, power, entrances, and walkways to scale on your real location. Use audience-specific layers and notes to turn that same plan into a staff map for load-in and day-of operations.

The same map, for your shoppers

Your site plan becomes a browser-based public map: search a vendor, find the nearest restroom, see today's lineup, and receive live announcements. Real coordinates let attendees see where they are on the site.

What breaks without it

  • Booking trucks over text, then losing track of who confirmed for which night
  • Double-booking a powered spot
  • No-shows with no deposit attached
  • Rebuilding the lot diagram every week

How FestKit handles food truck rallies

Spots that know their hookups

Tag each spot with power, water, and size so trucks only book spots that actually fit them, every date.

A rotation you can see

Each date shows exactly which spots are filled and by whom, so gaps are obvious far enough ahead to fill them.

Money up front

Collect the spot fee at booking rather than on the night, with holds that release the spot if payment does not land.

Regulars without the re-entry

A truck that works every week books the season in one transaction instead of a message thread per night.

Ways to sell it

Price the season, the weekend, or the day

A booth on a date is the unit you sell. Bundle every date into one price, or publish them individually — the same booths stay correctly available across both.

  • Season rotation

    Every rally date, one booking

  • Single night

One date for trucks filling a gap

  • Powered spot

    Priced above standard spots

Common questions

How do I schedule food trucks for a weekly rally?
Create a date block for each rally night and draw your spots once. Trucks book a specific spot for specific nights, so the rotation and the lot diagram stay in sync without weekly rebuilding.
What stops two vendors from booking the same booth on the same day?
Every booth-date is held the moment a vendor starts checkout, so it disappears from the public listing while they pay. Checkout holds last 24 hours and approval holds last 3 days; if payment does not land, the hold expires and the booth returns to the pool automatically.
Can I charge different prices for powered spots?
Yes. Offers price groups of spots independently, so powered or premium-location spots can carry a higher fee than standard spots at the same rally.
Can vendors book a whole season instead of one date at a time?
Yes. In FestKit a booth on a specific date is the unit you sell, so you can bundle every date of the season into one offer with a single price, or publish one offer per date and let vendors pick. Many organizers list both — a season pass and a drop-in day rate — and the same booth stays correctly available for whichever dates are unsold.
