Common questions

How does per-event pricing work?

Each subscription covers one event for 12 months from purchase. Running multiple events? Each gets its own subscription on its own renewal cycle.

How does vendor payment processing work?

When you enable payments, your vendors pay booth fees directly through Stripe. FestKit charges a 2% platform fee per transaction, and standard Stripe processing fees apply to your Stripe account. You manage payouts and refunds from your Stripe dashboard.

What's the AI vendor inbox?

An AI-powered inbox that reads incoming vendor emails — applications, questions, logistics requests — and drafts context-aware replies for you to review and send. It learns your event details and past responses so replies stay consistent. Included with the Showcase plan.

What's the AI concierge?

An AI assistant embedded in your attendee, vendor, and staff maps. Attendees can ask “Where’s parking?” and get an instant answer from your event data. Vendors can check load-in times. Staff can find assignments. Available on Showcase.

What's the event feed?

A real-time notification board for your event. Post alerts, schedule changes, and messages that appear instantly on the attendee map and staff map. Every plan includes the event feed. It's essential for day-of communication.

How does email volume work?

Each plan includes a yearly email allowance for vendor broadcasts — personalized emails to your vendors with updates, reminders, load-in instructions, etc. If you exceed your limit, overage emails are charged at $10 per 1,000 emails ($0.01 each), billed to your card on file when you confirm the send.

What happens if I go over my email limit?

No emails get blocked. When you send a broadcast that exceeds your plan's included volume, we'll show you the overage cost before you confirm — $10 per 1,000 emails ($0.01 each). The charge is billed to your card on file immediately, and your broadcast goes out as normal.

Can I upgrade mid-year?

Yes. Upgrade anytime and we'll prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.

What does 'removable FestKit branding' mean?

On Showcase plans, you can remove FestKit branding from your public-facing maps.
