Art in the Park runs Saturday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in South Park at 12th and Massachusetts in Lawrence. A tradition dating to 1964, the juried fine arts and crafts show expects more than 20,000 visitors and over 130 artists this year, its sixth year as a two day event, with live music and food vendors throughout.

Due to the ongoing winter storm, City facilities, including City Hall and all Parks, Recreation and Culture facilities, will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The Busker Festival is on! It’s our once-a-year-get-weird-weekend where you will find unusual entertainment all over historic downtown Lawrence.
