In addition to our weekly Saturday Market at TBK Bank, we host 2nd Saturdays on Main Avenue downtown , seasonal markets , and a growing slate of programs designed to increase access to local food, support producers, and engage our community. We operate community markets that connect local producers directly with customers, create economic opportunity, and serve as gathering spaces for our region. The Durango Arts Center is the hub for performing arts in Durango. We host adult workshops, youth camps, and a professional theater company in our space. The Durango Arts Repertory Theater (DART) presents 4-5 major productions annually, including an adult contemporary play, a summer musical theatre spectacular, a 10-Minute Play Festival, and a family holiday show featuring students in the Youth Theater program. WholeExpo is a Four Corners showcase of holistic and ecological products, services and seminars that has run for years at La Plata Fairgrounds in Durango. It was scheduled for Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., though the longtime producer is now retiring and seeking a new owner, leaving the 2026 date uncertain.

2nd Saturdays on Main is a special monthly event where the Durango Farmers Market moves to Main Ave ! In partnership with the City of Durango and the Business Improvement District (BID) , we’re piloting this program by relocating the market footprint to the 900–1100 blocks of Main Ave on the second Saturday from May - October. This exciting move opens up new opportunities for community engagement, vendor participation, and downtown vibrancy. We believe Main Ave should be more than just a road—it should be a place where community thrives. This program is designed to: Provide a larger, more accessible space for all of our vendors and guests Support local agriculture and continue to grow community —the heart of our mission Each Second Saturday, a local chef will lead a live cooking demonstration using fresh ingredients sourced directly from the market.
