The South of the James Farmers Market is an open-air, producer-only market held every Sunday, year-round, from 10 am to 1 pm in Forest Hill Park at 4021 Forest Hill Avenue in Richmond. Farmers and artisans sell locally grown produce and handmade goods, with a dedicated summer season running May through October.
The Carytown Farmers Market runs every Sunday, 9 am to 1 pm, from May 3 through October 25 at City Stadium, 3201 Maplewood Avenue in Richmond. Running since 2012, it lets local farmers and makers sell directly to shoppers and supports groups including the Richmond Folk Festival and Virginia Fresh Match.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at our year-round indoor market at Regency Square in Richmond, Virginia. We're building a consistent, high-quality marketplace featuring farmers, artisans, food vendors, and small businesses.
Event Details
*Location: Regency Square (Indoor Upper level)
*Day: Every Sunday
*Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
*Setup Time: 9:00 AM - 11:45 PM
*Breakdown: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Vendor Fee
*Standard 8-ft table space: $25 per week
*Chair: $3
*Electricity (limited availability): $5
Payment is required in advance to reserve your space once approved.

Vendor Requirements
*Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, and displays setup.
*All displays must be clean, professional, and contained within your assigned space.
*Food vendors must comply with all local health regulations.
*Required permits/licenses are the responsibility of the vendor.
*No counterfeit or prohibited items allowed.
Market Rules
*Be on time: Late arrivals may forfeit their space.
*Stay for full duration: Early breakdown is not permitted.
*Cleanliness: Leave your space as you found it (trash removal required). Do not put your trash into the mall trashcans. Herbetarian will collect your trash only if they are in trash bags. You will not be accepted back if your space is not clean.
*Conduct: Be respectful to customers, staff, and other vendors.
*Noise: No loud music or disruptive behavior.
*Sales: Vendors are responsible for their own transactions and pricing. VA sales tax is 6%.

Marketing & Promotions
By participating, vendors agree that photos/videos of their setup may be used for promotional purposes. We encourage all vendors to promote the event on their social media to help grow attendance.
Vendor Cancellation & No-Show Policy
To maintain a consistent and reliable market experience, all vendors must agree to the following cancellation terms:
Payment & Reservation
*All vendors fees must be paid in full to secure your space.
*Spaces are not guaranteed until payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
*Cancellations made 72+ hours before the event (Thursday at 1 PM):
*Eligible for a credit towards a future market date (no refunds).
*Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event:
*No refund or credit
No-Shows
*Vendors who do not attend and fail to notify Herbetarian (DaShawna and/or Jonathan):
*No refund or credit
*May be denied future participation
Rescheduling
*Vendors may request to transfer their spot to another approved date with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability.
Emergency Exceptions
*Emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
*Documentation may be required.
Event Status
*This is an indoor market and will proceed regardless of weather.
*No refunds or credits will be issued due to weather conditions.
Market Cancellation (Herbetarian aka Organizer)
If the market is cancelled by the organizer (Herbetarian), vendors will receive:
*A full credit towards a future date, or
*A full refund
By submitting payment, vendors acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
Approved vendors will receive confirmation and payment instructions.

Richmond VegFest takes place September 26, 2026, noon–6pm at Dogwood Dell in Byrd Park. The free festival features vegan food and merchandise vendors, music, speakers and cooking demonstrations. The 2nd Street Festival is a free annual two-day event held in the historic Jackson Ward neighborhood of Downtown Richmond, Virginia, celebrating the rich African American culture and history of the area. Now in its 38th year, the festival features three stages of live musical entertainment, a Kidz Zone, food vendors, a marketplace, Artists Row, and the Richmond Metropolitan Antique Car Club. Bolt the doors and dust off the cobwebs — Monsters of Cinema is rolling into town, bringing together makers, artists, and crafters who've poured their love of all things creepy-cute into one delightfully strange market.
This isn't a horror convention. It's a celebration of the monsters who taught us that "weird" and "wonderful" are basically the same word — and the talented hands turning that love into art.
Wander through vendor booths overflowing with handmade monster-themed treasures: stitched plush cryptids, hand-painted creature art, monster-inspired jewelry, embroidery, candles, stickers, and apparel that all carry that perfect blend of spooky and adorable. Find howling werewolves, unraveling mummies, and vampires looking entirely too smug about it — all lovingly crafted by local makers. Sprinkled throughout, you'll also spot a few vintage collectibles and classic monster movie memorabilia for those hunting that perfect nostalgic find.
Cosplayers shamble, slither, and stomp through the aisles in tribute to the icons of monster movie history. Grab a bite from food vendors serving up "monstrously" good snacks, and find that one handmade piece that completes your shrine to all things strange and stitched-together.
Because monsters were never really the villains. They were the misfits, the outsiders, the ones who taught us to love things that go bump in the night.

The 3rd Annual Harvest for All Festival takes place October 17, 2026, from 10 AM–2 PM at Good Foods Grocery and Stony Point Shopping Center, 3062 Stony Point Road, Richmond, Virginia. Commonwealth Autism and Good Foods Grocery host this free community event with pumpkin decorating, face painting, a miniature train ride, live music, and local vendors. Gilmore Shows produces the Craftsmen's Spring Classic each spring at the Richmond Raceway Complex, an all indoor art and craft show with free parking. The 2027 edition runs Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 14, with Friday and Saturday hours 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Exhibitors sell handmade pottery, jewelry, clothing, woodwork, glass, fine art, photography and other original craft work, and only items the vendor personally made are allowed.

Farmers Market @ St. Stephen's is a year-round Saturday market hosted by St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
