Memphis Mushroom Festival takes place October 17, 2026 at Overton Park in Midtown Memphis, with local food, fungi, farms, workshops, forest forays, music, and a vendor market. The 2026 vendor program offers $100 spaces for 10-by-10-foot market booths and welcomes aligned food and beverage vendors and trucks. Suitable products include handmade goods, nature-based art, body care, gardening and homesteading products, and locally produced foods. Presented by the Blount Partnership, the event introduces rising high school students to business leaders and employers while giving them brief hands-on experiences as they ponder potential career paths with local companies.
More than 1,500 students from all Blount County and Maryville and Alcoa city middle schools, along with local private schools participate.
Companies are represented in the fields of finance, internet technology, computer science, architecture, construction, HVAC, manufacturing, government, law, health science, food science, culinary, education and other career areas.
