The 53rd Annual Arbutus Arts Festival takes place Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm in Arbutus, Maryland. It is a one-day arts and crafts show serving the Baltimore-Washington area, with handmade crafts, food and drink, local live music and a beer garden, plus a Children's Corner for kids.

The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, held at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, brings together more than 250 vendors, 600 sheep and 40 workshops on fiber arts and shepherding. Visitors can watch sheepdog trials and shearing demonstrations, shop for wool and handmade textiles, and sample fair food such as lamb sandwiches and barbecue.

The Old Bowie Celebrates Festival, which featured arts and craft vendors, food, street entertainers, an art show, a kids corner and music, has been discontinued due to loss of funding. Organizers say they will keep bringing smaller events to Old Bowie as funding permits.
