The Silver Spring Mother's Day Arts and Crafts Fair takes place in May at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring, with free admission. A recent edition of the spring fair drew about 1,200 people, with vendors selling crafts and food alongside kids activities such as face painting, henna and balloon twisting.

The Westminster Wine Stroll runs Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm along West Main Street. Tickets are $10 at the gate, with entry free for kids 12 and under, and include two drink tokens redeemable at the beverage tent. The stroll features Maryland wineries, distilleries and breweries, live entertainment across multiple stages, and local food and craft vendors.

Family Fest at 43 is the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce's free annual festival at the Greenleigh Business Center grounds in Middle River, Maryland, typically running 10 am to 3 pm rain or shine. Past years have drawn more than 40 vendors alongside kids activities like a live butterfly exhibit, a corn maze, a mechanical bull and a working trucks exhibit, plus a Children's Entrepreneur Market booth for young sellers.
