Started in 2013 by a dedicated group of residents, the Hollywood Farmers Market is still going strong with a wide variety of vendors, a wonderful community of customers, and a dedication to bring locally grown fresh vegetables, meats, eggs and much more to our neighborhood’s tables. The Market is located in the south west corner of the parking lot of the Hollywood Shopping Center. It’s a family friendly market with live music, activities for the kids and delicious prepared foods. The UMD Farmers Market features local vendors from within 250 miles of College Park. Every farmer and producer selling at our market grows or makes what they sell themselves. Maryland Day at the University of Maryland is set for Saturday, April 24, 2027, from 10 am to 4 pm in College Park, with free parking and admission. The daylong event opens campus to the community with more than 400 free activities in arts, science, agriculture and sports.

The Hollywood Farmers Market sets up every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hollywood Shopping Center on Rhode Island Avenue in College Park.
