Ocean City's Springfest runs April 23 through 26, 2026, Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, in the Inlet Lot at the south end of the Boardwalk. The four day event features live music, food vendors and an arts and crafts market, with free admission throughout.
FOODEESFEST is excited to return to Tanger National Harbor for our third year, and this event is coming back bigger and better than ever.

On the banks of the Patuxent River at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum, in beautiful Southern Maryland, you will find on a cheery Saturday in late April, the sound of the bagpipes calling you home. Whether it be the music, food, dance or other Celtic attractions, there is something for everyone - we beckon you to join us as we celebrate the spirit of the 7 Celtic Nations in our 49th Annual Celtic Festival on April 24th! All Pre-Purchased General Admission Tickets will be scanned at the Gate. General Admission Gate Ticket Sales will be Credit Card sales ONLY (fee associated with card sales). Please be prepared to wait in line for entry if you have not pre-purchased your ticket. No pets are allowed in the Park during Festival hours 10am-6pm. No outside alcohol of any kind is permitted into the Park or Festival.
Family Fest at 43 is the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce's free annual festival at the Greenleigh Business Center grounds in Middle River, Maryland, typically running 10 am to 3 pm rain or shine. Past years have drawn more than 40 vendors alongside kids activities like a live butterfly exhibit, a corn maze, a mechanical bull and a working trucks exhibit, plus a Children's Entrepreneur Market booth for young sellers. Vendors and sponsors sign up through the chamber's own event calendar.
Maryland Day at the University of Maryland is set for Saturday, April 24, 2027, from 10 am to 4 pm in College Park, with free parking and admission. The daylong event opens campus to the community with more than 400 free activities in arts, science, agriculture and sports.
The Annual Montpelier Festival of Herbs, Tea and the Arts runs Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Montpelier Arts Center in Laurel. The free event includes a vendor marketplace, a gardening and herbs talk, tours of the Montpelier House Museum, art demonstrations, a picnic tea box, and a 1 pm classical guitar performance by Gwenyth Aggeler in the Main Gallery.
Local and regional vendors offer fresh baked goods, seasonal fruits and vegetables, organic meats, seafood, cheese, artisan breads, olive oil and prepared foods. Located at the Historic Train Station at 3701 Howard Ave. Enjoy local theater at the Armory with a variety of productions throught the year. The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival's mission is to celebrate and promote sheep and wool through presentations, competitions, and educational opportunities around the diverse range of sheep and wool related products and activities; and to provide a market place for the amazing range of products and services supporting and reflecting the versatility and benefits of sheep production for food and fiber.
The Festival is organized and conducted primarily by volunteers from the sheep breeding and fiber arts communities.

Run by Chic Events DC, this arts and crafts festival is held at American Way Outdoor Park in National Harbor on May 9, from noon to 6pm, and is free to attend. Vendors selling arts and crafts, food and desserts, direct sales or general merchandise register online and pay a vendor fee to confirm a booth, and the 2026 event has already sold out.

The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, held at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, brings together more than 250 vendors, 600 sheep and 40 workshops on fiber arts and shepherding. Visitors can watch sheepdog trials and shearing demonstrations, shop for wool and handmade textiles, and sample fair food such as lamb sandwiches and barbecue.
