Also, a Victualer’s License is required for any entity selling and serving on premise prepared foods. Fees – $40.00 for the season or $10 for each Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market, money must be submitted at the time of the license application is submitted. The markets are free for customers and open to the public. Dogs are allowed. There is free parking, including accessible spaces. We will once again request permission for vendors to use the large parking lot next door to leave parking at the park open and available for customers. The Fairfield Farmers Market sets up at the Church of the Nazarene parking lot on Main Street, Wednesdays from 2 to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9:30 to 1:30, running mid-June through October 31. An earlier stretch from mid-May to mid-June carries seedlings, plants and baked goods only. Growers sell vegetables, flowers, honey, soaps and other farm goods, and the market matches SNAP dollars fifty percent through Maine Harvest Bucks.

Common Ground Country Fair is MOFGA's annual celebration of rural living, organic agriculture, sustainable living, and local economies. The 50th fair includes more than 1,000 exhibitors and speakers, plus hundreds of vendors and exhibitors.

Billed as Maine's Harvest Fair, the 185th Farmington Fair runs September 20 through 26, 2026, at 292 High Street. The fair includes livestock exhibitions, an exhibition hall for home goods and arts entries, a youth auction and a Miss Farmington Fair contest.
