One of Maine's oldest farmers markets, the Saco Farmers' Market has operated since 1975. The 2026 season opens Saturday, May 9, 8 am to noon, at the Saco Valley Shopping Center at the corner of Spring and Scammon Streets. Vendors sell seasonal vegetables and fruit, lobsters and clams, local beef and pork, eggs, seedlings, cut flowers, honey, maple syrup, jams and baked goods, and the market accepts SNAP and EBT.
