Location: Kankakee County Fairgrounds Expo Center, 213 W 4000S Road, Kankakee, Illinois. Vendors may set-up the afternoon before shows from 3-5pm. The Les Artisans Arts and Crafts Fair focuses on handmade items; it is not a flea market or resale venue. The items sold must be the handiwork of the artist or crafter, or grown by the farmer. We will rent a very limited number of booths (not more than 10 per show) to home-based retail businesses on a first-come, first-served basis; only one vendor per business. We welcome artists, fine crafters and farmers. Westfest is an annual event held every Labor Day Weekend that salutes the area’s Czech heritage, featuring constant entertainment, authentic Czech music, food and a plethora of family-oriented activities. Westfest was founded in 1976 as a means for the West community to raise funds for a variety of projects, including various athletic facilities for youth groups, senior citizen activities, a community center, library and other civic and cultural programs.
