The Merrie Monarch Hawaiian Arts and Crafts Fair, in its 63rd year in 2025, was held April 23 through 26 at the Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium and Butler Buildings in Hilo. Hours ran 9 am to 5 pm Wednesday through Friday and 9 am to 4 pm Saturday, showcasing more than 150 Hawaiian artisans and crafters.

The Merrie Monarch Festival is a non-profit organization that honors the legacy of King David Kalākaua, who inspired the perpetuation of our traditions, native language and arts.
