The Lake City Growers and Makers Market meets the second and fourth Saturday of the month at Olustee Park in downtown Lake City, from 9 am to 1 pm. Local artisans and food vendors sell their goods, with the next dates including September 12 and 26, 2026.

The City of Lake City and MUSE will hold an evening Market in downtown Lake City. The event will be Friday, October 16th from 5:00pm-8:30pm in Veterans Park-124 NW Veterans Street, Lake City, Fl . Most downtown shops will be open for this event. The event will have crafts, food trucks, shopping, live music, and fun. Vendor set up may begin at 4:00pm. You are responsible for your own set up, clean up, and trash removal. We do not provide anything for your booth other than the physical ground. Tents are recommended. The sizes of the booth area is 10 X 10. Tents cannot be staked in the ground. Sand bags are recommended. You are responsible for setting up and operating your booth during the event. Please do not leave your booth unattended; we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen objects. No electricity is provided. Vendors must park in the designated area (Police Department Gravel Lot) In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Please be prepared for wind. Please make sure you use sand bags to keep the tent from flying away. The event is for all artisans. Please make sure your products are in good taste, no vulgar pictures, or profanity. The City of Lake City does not provide liability insurance for the protection of vendors, spectators, merchants, or others involved in similar activities who participate in the event. Prior to submitting an application for review, please read the entire vendor application and then decide if your product might qualify and if you meet and adhere to the rules of the market. Obtaining the proper licenses or permits and obeying all Federal, Local, and State codes is the sole responsibility of the vendor, including any regulations of the Florida Department of Agriculture or other regulatory agencies. Please familiarize yourself with the cottage Food Law. It is your responsibility to label products and follow the Cottage Food Law Guidelines. Food Vendors must be properly licensed with the State of Florida. Food Trucks must provide the City with their certificate of Liability Insurance with the City of Lake City listed as the additional insured. The City of Lake City will host its Downtown Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. Businesses and organizations will be lined up downtown in the Darby Parking lot handing out candy to the area trick or treaters from their decorated trunk. Vendor set up may begin at 6:00am. You are responsible for your own set up, clean up, and trash removal. We do not provide anything for your booth other than the physical ground. Tents are recommended. The sizes of the booth area is 10 X 10. If you need a larger area please purchase multiple spaces. Tents cannot be staked in the ground. Sand bags are recommended. Vendors must park in the designated area If you are assigned to the Darby Pavilion you will park at the-Shands Parking lot on Franklin Street If you are assigned to Olustee Park you will park in the gravel lot at the Lake City Police Department. The 48th Annual Olustee Festival & Craft Show takes place February 12 and 13, 2027, at Wilson Park in Lake City. More than 150 vendors set up alongside food trucks and a Kids' Zone, with live entertainment and a companion Olustee Blue-Grey 5K rounding out the weekend.

Lake City's Makers and Growers Market draws about 60 vendors to downtown Lake City every second and fourth Saturday. The Parks and Recreation department also runs a larger Spring and Holiday market, each drawing around 175 vendors, plus a Junior Market to encourage young entrepreneurs.

Saturday, 12:30– 5:30 p.m. & Sunday, 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. Children are invited to explore the visual arts with “artrageously” fun projects led by KidzArt, Howard County’s celebrated advocates of child creativity. Parents must remain with children during each activity. Permanent, non-washable materials may be used. Crayons and paper will be available for younger children. On-site registration is required as space is limited. Returning to LakeFest this year is the 16’ x 5’ life-sized coloring wall for attendees to color with washable markers all weekend long. It brings a little childhood to adults, and gives kids coloring on a scale they've never seen before!
