Valley of the Vapors is an international underground music festival held each March in Hot Springs, running since 2005 and known for surprise show locations such as a Waffle House and the Hot Springs Mountain Tower, plus secret shows and intimate workshops. Its 22nd annual edition ran March 13 to 15, 2026.
Northwest Arkansas Comic Con is a yearly event at the Rogers Convention Center in Rogers, Arkansas. The Four States Fair & Rodeo returns for its 82nd year April 2 through 11, 2027, at the fairgrounds on East 50th Street in Texarkana, Arkansas. The 39th Ozark Mountain UFO Conference runs April 9 to 11, 2027, at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs, continuing a tradition started by the late Lou Farish. Pre-registered attendees check in Thursday from 5 to 7 pm, and daily tickets run $60 Friday, $80 Saturday and $35 Sunday, or $130 for the full conference. The free vendors market runs Friday and Saturday 8 am to 6:30 pm and Sunday 8 am to 1:30 pm.
