South Alabama Comic Con is a yearly event at the Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, Alabama. The show features guests from movies, television, video games, cartoons, anime, music, comics, cosplay, and more. Guests participate in Q&As while fans present panels all weekend. Video game and tabletop tournaments occur throughout the event, while vendors and artists from across the country attend to sell everything from shirts and swords to toys and comics. Mobile Greek Fest returns October 15 through 17, running from 11 am to 9 pm each day, with curbside takeaway available from 10 am to 7 pm. The Mobile Greek Community has held the event since starting Greek Night in 1962, and this year's cashless festival offers free admission, live Greek music, church tours, a children's area and local vendors.

Taking place in in Mardi Gras Park – we’ll be celebrating early for the kids! Bounce houses, NYE crafts, MoonPie treats and a second line march to see the MoonPie drop at noon! Get hyped at the main stage as our DJ plays between acts through 12:30am! Come show off your best decorated Mardi Gras umbrella for a chance to win a prize and lead the parade. Contest will be held in the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel Courtyard. The Jukebox Brass Band will be getting down and cranking things up in the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel Courtyard.
During Mobile's extended Mardi Gras season, anyone selling goods on city streets or along the parade route must buy a Mardi Gras Peddler badge from the City of Mobile Revenue Department. Badges are sold in person at Government Plaza or by license investigators along the parade route by credit card, and food vendors must also pass a Fire Department and county health inspection before they can sell.
