About the event
Founded in 1977 by Lloyd & Lavoun Dyer, Tyson Wells began as an open lot in Quartzsite, Arizona. By 1978, the Sell-A-Rama was born, starting a tradition of unique desert shows. In 1995, Lavoun’s son, Kym Scott, a Fresno State business graduate, took over, expanding the business. The Tyson Wells Rock & Gem show is known for rock, gem & mineral vendors from around the world. The show is always early January and runs for 10 days. It is a great place to find gems, rocks, minerals, jewelry, faceting, precious metals, lapidary tool, equipment & supplies. The Tyson Wells Sell-A-Rama show is in late January and also runs for 10 days. Like the Rock & Gems Show, the Sell-A-Rama showcases the rock, gem, & mineral vendors and adds Art & Craft vendors also. The Sell-A-Rama has over 850 vendor spaces which equals roughly 2.2 miles of aisle frontage. In 2026 this will be the 48th annual show. You ca...
