In this hands-on Day Art Camp, kids won't just be making art. They'll be learning how to think like artists. Through drawing, painting, watercolors, acrylics, fiber art, clay, papier-mâché sculpture, and storytelling through imaginative character drawing, students will sharpen their skills, explore new ideas, and bring their imagination to life. Guided by Wyoming PTSB-certified Art Educator Pam Sipe, these camps go beyond arts and crafts. This is real arts education. The 12th annual Wyoming Outdoor Weekend and Expo runs May 15 and 16, 2026, at the Lander Community and Convention Center, with free admission. Friday brings a happy hour with free drinks and appetizers plus live music from 5 to 8 pm. Saturday opens at 9 am with outdoor seminars, fly casting and fly tying demonstrations, a turkey calling contest, and wraps up with the Wyoming Wildlife Federation's Wild Game Cookoff from 5 to 8 pm.
