The Skagit County Fair runs four days in early August at the county fairgrounds in Mount Vernon, with hours from 10 am to 10 pm Thursday through Saturday and 10 am to 9 pm Sunday. Commercial vendors rent outdoor 10 by 10 foot spaces starting at 350 dollars and must bring their own tents, tables and chairs, since the fair does not provide any indoor vendor areas.
