The Nacogdoches Scottish Highland Games and Festival is a one day event at the Nacogdoches Expo Center, most recently held May 9, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hosted by the East Texas Scottish Irish Fellowship, it benefits local volunteer fire departments and includes highland games competitions, clan and society tents, vendors, food, music and free parking. Vehicles must be cleared from the field by 8:30 the next morning, and no tear down is allowed before 6:30 p.m. on the day of the event.

We will have indoor vendors inside the Convention Center and Campbell Hall (Kids Zone). We will have food vendors as well as local craft vendors along 2 amazing Midways. Canton's First Monday Trade Days happens the weekend before the first Monday of every month, all year, across more than 450 acres of grounds. For the City-run Original Trade Days Park and Civic Center, vendor space is rented monthly through the First Monday office by mail-in application, with renewal priority for existing vendors. Other sections of the grounds, such as Lewis First Monday and Canton Marketplace, lease space separately under their own management rather than the city.
