Portland Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is announced for May 5–9, 2027 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. The festival includes food and merchandise vendors, performances and cultural programming. The current vendor page still describes sold-out 2026 spaces and a 2026 cancellation waitlist. That does not establish 2027 availability; vendors should await the updated application or contact the organizer.

We accept applications after 4/30/2026 on a rolling basis for consideration, if openings should arise. The fee to apply is $30 and must be sent in after filling out the application. The mission of the Rose Festival Court program is to provide scholarships for higher education, to promote community outreach and volunteerism, to offer networking and mentoring opportunities to outstanding young women in a program that perpetuates an appreciation for Rose Festival history and tradition. Princess announcements take place daily in through out March, in the days leading up to Spring Break. Following their selection, Court Members attend after-school and weekend training sessions covering topics including media training, networking, public speaking and more. Last Thursday on Alberta Street in Portland, Oregon is an open street market for creatives and buskers. It happens 10 months a year on the last Thursday of the month. Last Thursdays in June, July and August the street is closed from 6-9 pm with 15 blocks (15th Ave.-30th Ave.) closed to traffic, hundreds of diverse arts and crafts vendors, art gallery opening parties, street performers and musicians, and other outside events. Please read and follow the Vending Guidelines . Alberta is only closed to traffic for Last Thursday each June, July and August. But Last Thursday happens indoors every month, 12 months a year.
