Celebrate the Season at the Wallowa County Farmers Market Harvest Festival! Fall is just around the corner, and we’re celebrating the abundance of the season with our annual Wallowa County Farmers Market Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 12th on 1st Street in Joseph . Join us for a festive market day filled with local produce, farmers, makers, community, and a little bit of harvest-time fun! Come hungry! We’ll have homemade apple crisp and peach cobbler available for sale , with proceeds benefiting the Wallowa County Farmers Market. It’s a delicious way to celebrate the harvest while helping support our local market. Calling all gardeners, growers, and anyone who discovered a zucchini hiding under the leaves that suddenly became enormous…

The Wallowa County Farmers Market runs Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm, May 23 through October 10, on East 1st Street in downtown Joseph, Oregon. It is a nonprofit weekly gathering of local food producers, ranchers, gardeners, artisans and cottage crafters, and it accepts SNAP, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC and Veggie Rx. New vendors pay a reduced 25 dollar first year application fee, while returning vendors pay 50 dollars, and accepted vendors must attend a mandatory orientation before the season starts.

The Wallowa Valley Festival of the Arts, in its 43rd year, runs September 18 through 20, 2026, in Joseph, Oregon, hosted by the Josephy Center for Arts & Culture. The juried show spans painting, sculpture and photography, offering $4,000 in cash prizes plus an En Plein Air Competition for the first 50 registered artists worth over $3,000 more. A Quick Draw runs Saturday, September 19, from 1 to 4 pm at Mt. Joseph Lodge Gardens.
