The 12th Annual Vinita Route 66 Festival kicks off Friday, June 5, with live music, food trucks and an inflatable Kids Zone at a downtown block party from 6 to 10 pm. Saturday activities starting at 9 am include a car show, sidewalk chalk contest, a power wheels parade for kids, and open houses at local attractions like the Cherokee Cultural and Welcome Center.
