The Burning of the Bull takes place October 17, 2026, from 6 pm to midnight at the Alamogordo Fairgrounds. The one-night event includes fireworks, live music, food and arts and crafts vendors, a beach ball toss, pinatas, folkloric dancers and a car show, capped by the ceremonial burning of a bull effigy.

The Zuni Pueblo MainStreet Festival runs May 9 and 10, 2026, over Mother's Day weekend, and is free and open to the public. The two-day art market features more than 50 artists and food vendors, along with traditional Zuni dances, Native American band performances, a watermelon contest, a tug-of-war called Clan Wars, a mini carnival, and a 50/50 raffle.

The Salmon Ruins Arts and Crafts Fair is an annual holiday fundraiser for the Salmon Ruins Museum. It brings up to 96 vendors, handmade crafts, hot food, door prizes, and holiday shopping to the McGee Park Office Building.
We have two main craft faires per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Location: Torrance Cultural Arts Center (Madrona & Torrance Blvd.) To be a handmade vendor in our faires, you need to be a member of the Torrance Craftsmen’s Guild. The deadline for joining the guild and participating in our spring faire is the beginning of January. The Cloudcroft Christmas Market is a Chamber of Commerce event listed on the village's own events page for 2026. In recent years it has run over two days at the Cloudcroft High School Gym, Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, with regional and local artisans selling mountain goods, art and decor.
