The City of Hoboken's Division of Cultural Affairs runs this annual festival on Washington Street between Observer Highway and 7th Street, typically on a Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm each May. Past editions have drawn over 300 artists and vendors alongside three stages of live music and a children's activity area with rides, games, and craft tables. The city partners with EventHub to handle vendor and sponsorship registration, which opens a few months before the festival and closes once capacity is reached.

What began in 1979 as a small “clothesline art exhibit” now encompasses more than a mile of the business district along Haddon Avenue from 10am to 5pm . On average we have 10,000 visitors attend, as it has become one of the most popular entertainment events of the summer season. Our arts & crafts portion of the Red, White and Blueberry Festival is a juried show. As such, t he photos and description that you provide are used for approving your admission to the Festival. Each application is examined and rated for individual merit. Historical data, such as previous Festival participation or having no Festival experience, is not considered. The Festival layout is constructed each year with great care so that all products are showcased respectfully.
