Livingston Depot Center's Festival of the Arts assembles over 100 skilled artists and crafts people each year and attracts many thousands of enthusiasts. Held in our Depot Rotary Park, this impressive collection of fine art and craft talent from around the entire Western region, spans photography, painting, sculpture, woodworking, metal and blacksmithing, jewelry, furniture, glass, fiber arts, drawings and prints, ceramics, and more. The festival is is a juried show and open to artisans in all media of arts and crafts. Madison County Fair & Rodeo is held each year at the county fairgrounds on West Wallace Street in Virginia City, Montana. The county's own page hosts an Open Class entry form for exhibitors, and publishes a full fair and rodeo guide book with the annual schedule. Other similarly named 'Madison County Fair' results turned up in searches belong to different counties in other states and were not used.

One of Montana's oldest and best county fairs, the Rosebud-Treasure County Fair has been an annual event since 1906. Forjoury is a musical extravaganza like no other. The Flathead Cherry Festival takes place July 25 and 26 on Main Street in Polson, with show hours of 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm Sunday. The Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Western Music Rendezvous runs Thursday through Sunday, August 6 through 9, 2026, in Lewistown. The 2026 MontanaFair runs from Friday, August 7 through Saturday, August 15, at the fairgrounds in Billings. 4-H and FFA exhibitors have a Judging Day on Monday, August 3, from 8 am to 9 pm, and non-livestock exhibits are released the following Sunday, August 16, from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce runs the annual Huckleberry Days Arts Festival at Depot Park, at Railway Street and Central Avenue. The 37th edition ran August 7 through 9, 2026, with the festival open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, free to the public. Artist and food vendor applications are processed in the order received with no fixed deadline, and liability insurance is required.
