The Northview Band Boosters hold a craft and vendor show at Northview High School, 4451 Hunsberger Avenue NE, with the spring 2026 show set for Saturday, April 25 from 9 am to 3 pm. Proceeds support the marching band, guard, jazz and concert programs for grades five through twelve. The Boosters post updates and vendor details on their Facebook event page ahead of each show.

The Poor Artists Sale is, now in its 50th year, is an annual juried holiday art fair hosted by the Copper Country Community Arts Council as a benefit for the Community Arts Center in Hancock. It features fine art and craft from local and regional artists. One of the longest running holiday art shows in the Copper Country, it draws established artists and large crowds of holiday shoppers. Art for the Holidays transforms Detroit Artists Market into a seasonal marketplace November 20–December 23, 2026, featuring artwork, ornaments, and handmade gifts by Michigan artists. The call for entries has been extended to September 18, 2026. Eligible DAM members and Michigan-based artists may submit up to 10 works for a $10 jury fee. Individual pieces must cost $500 or less, and two-dimensional works may not exceed 24x24 inches. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 11 AM–6 PM. Artwork drop-off is November 3–7; pickup January 5–9, 2027.

Save the dates for Holiday Market at Eastern Market! In addition to our Saturday Market that operates year-round, we have four additional markets for all your holiday shopping needs in 2025: Our Tuesday Market will focus primarily on food vendors and is a perfect place to find everything for your holiday meals. Our Sunday Markets will feature Michigan-made gift options including clothing, art, jewelry, beauty products, and more. Christmas tree vendors will be in our parking lot outside Sheds 5 and 6, seven days a week starting around Thanksgiving. There are no tickets for this event. It is free and open to all ages.

The Detroit Urban Craft Fair, now in its 21st year, takes place December 5 and 6, 2026, at Detroit's Masonic Temple, 500 Temple Street. More than 100 Michigan and Midwest makers sell indie crafts and art, and the fair has drawn about 7,000 attendees since it started in 2005.

Ann Arbor's KindleFest runs December 4, 2026, from 5 to 10 pm in the Kerrytown District, with kids' activities from 5 to 7 pm and live music from 7 to 10 pm. Noel Night is a longstanding, free holiday open house across Detroit's Cultural Center and Midtown district, produced by Midtown Detroit, Inc. Over 100 institutions and small businesses, including museums, the public library and Wayne State University buildings, normally open their doors with music and activities. Midtown Detroit Inc paused the event for the 2025 season to reassess its future direction, replacing it that year with a business led Merry Midtown celebration, with plans to bring Noel Night back afterward.
