Detroit Harvest Fest takes place October 3–4, 2026, from 11 AM to 8 PM at Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park, 1801 W. Jefferson, Detroit. Hosted by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, the fall festival features local vendors, more than 30 food trucks, live entertainment, movies, trick-or-treating, and family activities. Downtown Detroit Markets runs November 11, 2026–January 3, 2027, in Cadillac Square, featuring product-based Metro Detroit businesses and artisans. Applications for 2026 are confirmed closed; the deadline was June 1. The program is managed by Downtown Detroit Partnership and funded by Gilbert Family Foundation. Vendors must staff the full season, meet business eligibility requirements, and pay $2,100 or $2,500 total rent depending on assigned shop size. Art for the Holidays transforms Detroit Artists Market into a seasonal marketplace November 20–December 23, 2026, featuring artwork, ornaments, and handmade gifts by Michigan artists. The call for entries has been extended to September 18, 2026. Eligible DAM members and Michigan-based artists may submit up to 10 works for a $10 jury fee. Individual pieces must cost $500 or less, and two-dimensional works may not exceed 24x24 inches. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 11 AM–6 PM. Artwork drop-off is November 3–7; pickup January 5–9, 2027.

Save the dates for Holiday Market at Eastern Market! In addition to our Saturday Market that operates year-round, we have four additional markets for all your holiday shopping needs in 2025: Our Tuesday Market will focus primarily on food vendors and is a perfect place to find everything for your holiday meals. Our Sunday Markets will feature Michigan-made gift options including clothing, art, jewelry, beauty products, and more. Christmas tree vendors will be in our parking lot outside Sheds 5 and 6, seven days a week starting around Thanksgiving. There are no tickets for this event. It is free and open to all ages.

The Detroit Urban Craft Fair, now in its 21st year, takes place December 5 and 6, 2026, at Detroit's Masonic Temple, 500 Temple Street. More than 100 Michigan and Midwest makers sell indie crafts and art, and the fair has drawn about 7,000 attendees since it started in 2005.

The Detroit Auto Show is announced for January 14–24, 2027 at Huntington Place, One Washington Boulevard, Detroit. It features automotive and mobility exhibitors. The official homepage links to exhibitor information, but that page currently returns a 404 error. A working 2027 exhibit application was not located; vendors should contact the organizer for participation details.

Don’t miss one of the region’s largest RV shows – and the only one with free admission! Featuring a wide assortment of fully staged RVs, including compact, lightweight travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, Class-A motorhomes, and more. The top RV manufacturers will be well represented, including Coleman, Eddie Bauer, Campsite Reserve, Keystone, Forest River and many more. The Ultimate RV Show features new and used models, all at show-only special pricing.

Detroit Bookfest returns to Eastern Market on July 18, 2027, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival welcomes book and related creative vendors. Vendor applications are currently paused; the organizer expects to reopen around October 2026 while updating its application system. The published timeline still contains placeholders, so confirm reopening and deadlines on the official vendor information page.
