The Talbot Street Art Fair, Indiana's oldest juried art fair, takes place June 20 and 21, 2026, Saturday 10 to 6 and Sunday 10 to 4, along Talbott Street in Indianapolis's Herron-Morton neighborhood. More than 60,000 visitors, some from up to 100 miles away, browse work from 220 juried artists at this admission-free event, which began on Mother's Day weekend in 1956 with just 15 artists and about 1,500 visitors.

Silver Lake Days is the Indiana town's annual community celebration, returned in 2024 to mark the town's history with a parade, a car show, tug of war, cornhole, a scavenger hunt and a Cutie King and Queen contest.
