The Carmel Farmers Market runs its summer season every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., May through September, at 2 Carter Green. A winter market follows from October 17 through March 27 on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon at 611 3rd Avenue SW, aiming to give small businesses a venue alongside fresh, healthy food.

The Carmel International Arts Festival takes place September 26 and 27, 2026, in the Carmel Arts and Design District at Main Street and Rangeline Road. Saturday runs 10 am to 6 pm, with the Main Stage open until 7:30, and Sunday runs 10 am to 5 pm, with the Main Stage open until 6. An information booth on site helps visitors find favorite artists and food vendors.
