WE LOVE EVENTS! There are a variety of events that take place throughout the year in Historic Downtown Pocatello! Below is our Events Calendar and a description of our signature events. Downtown businesses and merchants host a variety of events as well. For a complete list of all the events in the area, please be sure to check out Facebook page for updates on current and upcoming events. Movie Night at The Park hosted by The Neighborhoods of Historic Downtown Plan to join us in Historic Downtown Pocatello on the First Friday of Every Month, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for First Friday Art Walk. Come for a charming evening stroll through our shops and galleries featuring local and regional art, music, food, fashion, and so much more. Admission is free and so is the parking!

This outdoor craft festival runs July 3 and 4, 2026, in Salmon, Idaho, now in its 3rd year. Local artisan vendors sell crafts alongside live music, food and drinks, and a bouncy house keeps kids entertained.

The Ketchum Arts Festival runs July 10 to 12, 2026, on Champions Meadow along Sun Valley Road, with hours 10 to 6 Friday and Saturday and 10 to 4 Sunday. Admission is free, and the show features more than 100 Idaho artists selling arts and crafts, food and beer booths, and a free kids activity tent.

Kimberly Good Neighbor Days is an annual community festival held the second weekend of July, running Friday through Sunday with a parade, vendor and food truck area, and events at Pleasant Valley Golf Course. The 2026 edition drew 57 vendors and 15 food trucks with about 200 parade entries, and vendor registration for next year typically opens in January.

Idaho Christmas in July is a craft fair scheduled for July 18, 2026, at the Bonneville County Fairgrounds in Idaho Falls. It is one of six annual craft fairs put on by Colissa and her team, who have organized local shopping events in the area for more than 15 years.

Boise’s annual Basque festival aligns with the July 31 feast day of Saint Ignatius de Loyola, or San Inazio, the Patron Saint of the Basques, which holds cultural and spiritual significance for the Basque community. Saint Ignatius, a Basque soldier who later became a priest and theologian, was born in the Basque province of Gipuzkoa in the 15th century and is known for being the founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuit order). In Basque tradition, festivals often center around a saint and their feast day. While San Inazio is a secular festival, we do hold a mass to honor the Basque patron saint.

The Bannock County Fairgrounds in Downey, Idaho, host the annual Bannock County Fair and Rodeo. The Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival brings a powwow to the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in August 2026, running Thursday through Sunday. Grand Entry ceremonies are held Thursday and Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 1 pm and 7 pm, and Sunday at 1 pm. Dancers and singers register Friday from 4 to 10 pm and Saturday from noon to 5 pm, with Blackstone of Saskatchewan, Canada, serving as host drum.

FARE Idaho's Field to Fork festival comes to the University of Idaho's Sandpoint Organic Agriculture Center on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 11 am to 3 pm. The gathering connects North Idaho farmers, ranchers, food producers, retailers and chefs, with a boxed lunch, snacks, coffee and water provided to attendees.

The 54th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair takes place August 8 and 9, 2026, in downtown Sandpoint at 2nd Avenue and Main Street. Hours run 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and 9 am to 4 pm Sunday, free to attend, with last year's event drawing more than 5,000 visitors to browse artist booths featuring ceramics, fiber art, glass, jewelry, metalwork, paintings, photography and woodwork, plus food vendors.

Franklin County Fair runs August 10 through 15, 2026, in Preston, Idaho.
