The Riggins Rodeo and Parade takes place May 2 and 3, 2026, at the Riggins Rodeo Grounds in Riggins, Idaho, with adult admission at $15, $5 for ages 7 to 12, and free entry for kids 6 and under. Saturday brings mutton busting at 12:30 pm and rodeo events like bareback riding, barrel racing and bull riding starting at 1:30, while Sunday opens with a 6 am cowboy breakfast followed by an 11 am parade.

The Apple Blossom Festival is an annual festival held in Payette, Idaho. It is held the second full week of May each year. The festival offers free concerts in Central Park and a variety of family friendly activities for the residents of Payette and the surrounding communities. Some of the highlights include one of the largest carnivals in the area which starts on Thursday, a Parade on Saturday and fireworks Saturday at dusk. Since the 1930s, the community of Emmett and all of Gem County has gathered each June to celebrate the abundance of our valley. We celebrate with the region’s longest continually running festival, “The Emmett Cherry Festival.” The Emmett Cherry Festival is always held during the second full week of June. The traditional Cherry Festival events, concerts and carnival all happen in the Emmett City Park starting on Wednesday and running through Saturday.
