This festival is a notable highlight for collectors and residents from the Tri-State region, New England, and beyond. Our nationally recognized, juried festival features a premier roster of regional, national, and international fine artists exhibiting in various media categories, including painting, photography, sculpture, fiber, printmaking, mixed media, glass, ceramics, jewelry, wood, and graphics. The Old Saybrook Torchlight Parade steps off Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 6 pm in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, a Christmas tradition running for more than 50 years on the second Saturday of December. Fife and Drum Corps from around New England and Christmas-themed floats built by local businesses march by torchlight, with Santa Claus appearing at the parade's end.
The Third Annual Mansfield Craft Fair was held Saturday, December 14, at the Mansfield Community Center Gymnasium, 10 South Eagleville Road in Storrs/Mansfield, from 9 am to 3 pm. More than 30 local artisans and crafters sold handmade jewelry, pottery, home decor, clothing, toys and specialty foods, and admission was free. A Jingle Jog fun run kicked off the morning from 9 to 10 am.

On November 11 we hold a Veterans' Day ceremony at Veterans' Memorial Park. There is a guest speaker and wreaths are placed on the five monuments by Veterans. Music is provided by the high school, and a ceremonial volley is provided by the South Windsor Police Honor Guard. The Farmington Live Art Walk takes place Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12 to 4 pm along Main Street in Farmington Village, hosted by the Farmington Cultural District.
