About the event
Kingston Buskers Rendezvous is described as one of the preeminent festivals of its kind in Canada, bringing a global roster of street performers to multiple pitches across downtown Kingston each July. Downtown Kingston runs a combined Artist and Vendor Hub for the festival period, with vendor applications posted on that hub ahead of the event. Performers, separately, must obtain a busking permit and have their festival application accepted, since normal downtown busking is not allowed during the festival weekend without it.
