The Shepherdstown Community Club runs a juried handmade market on the first weekend of most months at the War Memorial Building. Local artisans sell jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, woodwork, paintings and small batch food like baked goods and preserves over Saturday and Sunday, typically 9 or 10 am into the evening one day and until mid afternoon the next. The market has grown a loyal following of Eastern Panhandle shoppers who return each month to see the same and new makers.
