The Scandinavian Cultural Foundation of Junction City has put on this festival since 1961, gathering the community the second Thursday through Sunday every August to celebrate Scandinavian heritage. The 65th annual Junction City Scandinavian Festival runs August 13 to 16, 2026, with free admission and entertainment, and many local nonprofits take part as vendors.
