Shirley's Farmers' Markets runs producer only markets in the Reno area on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, currently at The Village Shops at California and Booth and at Tamarack Junction Casino on South Virginia Street. All farmers must hold agricultural certification from a Nevada or California authority, and produce must reach the market within a few days of picking to keep quality high.
