Due to the forecast for scattered to potentially severe thunderstorms, the Town of North Beach has canceled the Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, First Fridays event. While First Fridays is promoted as a rain-or-shine event, the potential for thunderstorms, including lightning and severe weather, presents a significant safety risk and meets the Town’s threshold for canceling an outdoor, town-sponsored event. The safety of our residents, visitors, vendors, volunteers and staff remains our highest priority. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to North Beach at a future event. Please help us spread the word by sharing this notice. Registered vendors will be contacted directly regarding refunds.
