About the event
The 84th Pennsylvania State Laurel Festival runs June 13 through 21, 2026, in Wellsboro to celebrate the blooming of the state flower. The week includes a juried arts and crafts fair, a queen's pageant, a pet parade, a children's health fair, foot races, a gospel sing, several concerts and a two-hour parade with high school bands and floats from around the state. The festival began in 1938 and today is organized by volunteers through the Wellsboro Area Chamber of Commerce.
