Create a Website Account - Manage notification subscriptions, save form progress and more. The West La. Forestry Festival is held annually during the first full week of October. The midway is lined with a variety of carnival rides and you're sure to find one to suit any age group. Carnival games and food booths are scattered throughout. The first day of the fair kicks off with a Senior Citizen's Day. A lunch will be provided and attendees have many opportunities to win door prizes. An assortment of free health screening booths will be available. Every day of the fair offers its own special discount. Check the West Louisiana Forestry Festival Facebook page for a complete list of these specials. Eight local service organizations operate food booths near the main entrance.
