About the event
The Back to School Bash at the New Tampa YMCA is a free, one day community event on July 26, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm at 16221 Compton Drive. It offers free backpacks to preregistered children while supplies last, plus an interactive school supply scavenger hunt and local vendors covering healthcare, after school programs, sports and other family resources. It is organized by Florida Penguin Productions, which runs a series of similar back to school events across the Tampa Bay area.
