About the event

The purpose of the Lincoln Arts Festival is to preserve, support and present to the Boothbay Region the performing, visual and applied arts and humanities, and to provide opportunities for students, artists and the general public to participate in the cultural life of midcoast Maine. Lincoln Arts Festival is overseen by a Board of Directors and interested volunteers. Over the years this group has always included a remarkable blend of talented individuals: musicians, conductor-composers, a theater owner-director and producer, a museum curator, lawyers, historians, nurses, poets, actors, doctors, editors, teachers, accountants, fudge-makers, boat captains, artists, plumbers, and business people of the community.
