Connecting our community through fresh food, local goods, education, and hospitality, while investing in the sustainability and resilience of local farmers and makers. During the Spring and Summer season we average more than 70 regular farmers and vendors at each of our weekly markets, making the Travelers Rest Farmers Market the largest independently-run, nonprofit farmers market in the state. The Travelers Rest Farmers Market first began in 2009 with a handful of local farmers and vendors, and was held in the parking lot of Sunrift Adventures. The TR Farmers Market then officially became designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014.
