About the event
Stoughton's Syttende Mai Festival celebrates Norwegian heritage over three days, May 14 through 16, 2027, timed to the weekend closest to Norway's May 17 Constitution Day. The city-wide event, organized by the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce since 1953, includes food and drink, arts and music, athletic competitions, kids' activities and a Sunday parade. A shuttle from the fire department parking lot at 381 E. Main Street runs about every 20 to 30 minutes on Saturday and Sunday.
