The Sparta Farmers Market is located in Historic Downtown Sparta, WI at Mueller Square & Creekside. In recent years it has expanded to both sides of The Water Street Bridge! Visit us on Saturdays 8 AM - 1 PM, May 9 - Oct 10, 2026. The Sparta Farmers Market is a unique, producer-only market, meaning all goods are grown, made, or crafted by the vendors themselves—no resale items allowed. When you visit, you’re speaking directly with the farmer who raised the produce, the baker who made the bread, or the artist who created the work. Each season, the market includes an educational component, using the stage to share free resources, demonstrations, and live music with the community.
