2026 Seasonal Market - Saturdays, May 9 – Oct. 31 The Farmers' Market is closed on the 4th of July to celebrate our nation's 250th birthday. The Saturday Market is a large market with approximately 45 vendors. It was established more than 25 years ago by the Downtown Fairfax Coalition. It is a busy market with lots of activity. Customers can expect lines at the most popular vendors and sometimes early sell-outs of popular items. Driving, Bicycling, or Walking? Our market is easily accessible and located only a block from historic Old Town Fairfax. Lots of free parking. We are family and pet friendly so bring your kids and your pets (leashed). Picnic tables are available for onsite dining. 40th Annual Holiday Craft Show (Nov. 21-22) City of Fairfax, VA Sept. 7 - Trash: No collection - Monday & Tuesday routes collected Sept. 8. CUE Bus: Saturday service. Closed: City offices, courts, DMV Select, Fairfax Museum, and Historic Blenheim. What started out in 1987 as a very small show has grown to become a premium arts and crafts festival. Artisans from all over the United States, including many local artists, are participating in this year’s show and we are delighted to be able to offer so many wonderful, holiday gift choices. We also invite you to enjoy a hot lunch from the concession stand and use our dining area to rest and recover before you continue shopping. There really is something for everyone on your shopping list, so please take your time and visit all the areas of the show- you won't want to miss a single one!
