Our biggest festival of the year is our annual Fall Foliage Festival located in East Burke on the Village Green. The Burke Fall Festival is organized and hosted by the Burke Area Chamber of Commerce with assistance from many volunteers, local businesses and other organizations. The event is a fundraiser for the Chamber as well as many participating schools and local, non-profit organizations. The Chamber proceeds from the event are used to help us promote the Burke Area, host other community events, provide services to our members and support economic growth in our community. PLEASE NOTE – It’s a good idea to bring cash. Most vendors take credit cards, but it’s a busy day for WiFi in the village and connections can be slow. The BBQ is cash only. The Chester Fall Festival returns to 637 Route 103N in Chester, Vermont, Saturday, September 19, from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, September 20, from 9 am to 4 pm. Jericho Farmers Market is a producers market where everything sold must be grown, raised, foraged or made by the vendor. Its full season and half time vendor spots for 2026 are already full, but the market keeps accepting Day Vendor applications on a rolling basis into the fall and winter, at 30 dollars per week. The Weston Craft Show is a nonprofit, juried exhibit of Vermont artisans held annually during the second weekend of October at Walker Farm on Main Street in Weston. Work spans ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, paper and wood, and every artisan must be a Vermont resident present at their own booth. Applicants submit five photos of their work with a twenty five dollar non-refundable fee, and proceeds support preservation of Weston's historic properties.
